Travis Lee Schiwart, 84 of La Grange, passed away on November 6, 2025 in Weimar, Texas.

A graveside service for Travis Lee Schiwart is scheduled for 11:00 a.m. Saturday, November 15, 2025, at Carmine City Cemetery in Carmine.

Travis Schiwart was born on January 8, 1941 in Vernon, Texas to Gerhard Paul Schiwart and Clara Selma (Fritsche) Schiwart. After school, he proudly served in the United States Air Force from 1959 to 1965. He married Joyce Marie (Hall) on September 17, 1966 at their home in Houston. They were married for 55 years until she passed away on April 19, 2022.

Travis was preceded in death by his parents and his wife. He will be dearly missed by family and friends.
