Starts at 11:00 am (Central time)
A Celebration of Life for Donna and Thomas Morgan will be held at 11:00 AM, March 14, 2026 at the Cowboy Church on the Rock (13803 US-90, Beaumont, Texas 77713).
Thomas Alvin Morgan, passed away in his home in La Grange, Texas on February 4, 2026, just days shy of his 69th birthday. Born on February 14, 1957, in Galveston, Texas, Thomas lived a life marked by dedication, compassion, and resilience.
For thirty years, Thomas showcased his skills at Baker Hughes, where he built a successful career that reflected his commitment and hard work. In 1975, he graduated from South Park High School in Beaumont, Texas.
Thomas was a devoted father to his son Jacob Morgan and wife Cherri, as well as to his daughter Meranda Pennison. He embraced the joy of grandparenthood, adoring his grandchildren Allie and Alex Morgan, Brayden Giustiniano and Tanner Whitworth, and Dylan and Matthew Pennison, whose laughter and love brought him immense happiness.
Thomas's family bond extended to his sisters, Beverly Gray and husband E.J. Gray of La Grange, and Marinell Linscomb and husband Everett Linscomb of Beaumont, with whom he shared many cherished memories. He also held dear the presence of his aunts, Bilie Morgan Doyle and Claudine Morgan.
A loyal friend, Thomas often found companionship and joy with Earl "Tripp" Prouse. Other family members include Lorie Machinsky and husband Dustin, Andrew Gray, and Tobie Walston and daughter Nicole, Tommy Walston, Zachary Thorne, Hannah Thorne, Catherine Marks, Christopher Marks, Matthew Marks, Joseph Gray, and sisters-in-law Jo Anne Walston and Cherie Thorne, all of whom celebrated life’s moments with him.
Although Thomas faced the losses of his parents, Henry Alexander Morgan and Nellie Mae Smith, along with his brother Joseph Willard Morgan, the love and memories they imparted continued to resonate in his life. He also mourned the passing of his nephew Michael Gray and the children's mother, Donna Jean Morgan, all of whom are forever etched in his heart.
As we remember Thomas Alvin Morgan, we celebrate a life that was deeply impactful to all who knew him. His legacy of love, perseverance, and connection will undoubtedly continue to inspire those left behind.
