Terry Wayne Dyer, age 55, of La Grange formerly of Houston passed away on April 10, 2009 in La Grange, Texas. He was born on July 22, 1953 to parents Gerald and Beatrice (Schuessler) Dyer of Austin, Texas.

He was a self employed carpenter. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.

Terry Dyer is survived by his wife, Michelle Dyer of La Grange; one son, Kevin Dyer of The Woodlands; two sisters, Cindy Pereiro and her husband Harold of La Grange and Bobbie Sue Fajkus and her husband Richard of La Grange; one brother, Erwin Bassford and his wife Deborah of La Grange and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Visitation is scheduled for Monday, April 13, 2009 from 8:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Fayette Memorial Funeral Home. The family will receive visitors from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Monday evening.

Graveside services are scheduled for Tuesday, April 14, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. at Florida Chapel Cemetery near Round Top, Texas. Reverend Emil Kiesling will officiate at the service.
