Talena Marie Harris was born on March 19, 2004 in Gerogetown to parents, Cara (Crisler) Harris and Kevin Harris. She enjoyed horses and being a Mama’s girl.
Talena died on April 29, 2008 as a result of an automobile accident that occurred in the Bastrop area. Talena was four years old.
Talena is survived by her father, Kevin Harris; one sister, Marissa Harris; grandparents, Warren and Lynn Douglas; grandfather, Donald Crisler; and grandparents, Homer and Louise Harris; great-grandmother, Margaret Sherrill; aunts and uncles, Lisa and Darren Cheatham, Kimberly and Norm Lambert, Donny Crisler and Connie, and Michael and Michelle Crisler; great aunt and uncle, Freddie and Geanett Jones; “aunt” Kristi Wallace and Steven and numerous other relatives and friends.
Memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association, 2499 Capital of Texas Highway South “Bld. A, #203” Austin, Texas 78746 or to the charity of one’s choice.
Visitation is scheduled for Sunday, May 4, 2008 from 8:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Fayette
Memorial Funeral Home. The family will receive visitors from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. on Sunday. Funeral services are scheduled for Monday, May 5, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. from the Second Baptist Church located at 1010 Von Minden Street in La Grange. Reverend Freddie Jones and Reverend George Gowin will officiate. Interment will be in the Byler Cemetery off of Old Lockhart Road.
