Susanna Marie Elizabeth Alvarado Kirchberg died in her Rutersville, Texas home on May 3, 2018. Born to Marie and William Henry Kirchberg, February 3, 1968 in Burlington, Vermont. She was a Mt. Mansfield Union High graduate; class of 1986.

Suzy Married Roberto Alvarado on November 21. 2017. Together for 30 years, they created multiple business ventures together including the bilingual publication El Antiquario out of their then home in Guadalajara Mexico. This magazine specialized in Mexican folk art and antiques. She was a tireless editor for the Show Daily antiques guide of Round Top, Warrenton, Shelby, Fayetteville, Carmine and Burton, Texas; “educate, entertain and inform” could have easily been her mantra. Known for ever-so-generously giving people her time and immersing herself in her work, she was a true stalwart for her community especially in times of need.

We will miss her deeply and find that her passing leaves a special, artistic space unfulfilled.

There will be a service for  her at Grace United  Methodist  Church in Essex  Junction ,  Vermont  on June 1st  at  4pm.
