Sharon Davidson

Sharon Davidson was born in Miami, Florida on June 16, 1958. She was baptized in 1958, was a graduate of Klein High School and later married her husband of 35 years, Ronald Davidson. They married in Fayetteville, Texas in September of 1985 and resided in Round Top.  Sharon passed away on March 25, 2021 at the age of 62.

Sharon walked daily down Mill Street in Round Top and stopped to say hello to everyone (and every animal) from the Post Office all the way to the Round Top Family Library, where she volunteered. She was also a member of DYD (Do Your Duty).  Sharon loved sports, the weather forecast and animals especially her dogs, Tipsy and Sally Ann.

Sharon was extremely smart and had a talent for memorizing everyone’s birthdays, the weather and sports statistics. She loved to find out about people. She loved to talk and would talk to anyone that she came across and would often talk to God because she knew that He didn’t mind that she talked too much.  Sharon was the kindest, most thoughtful and giving person and she will be missed dearly.

Sharon is preceded in death by her birth mother, Mabel Pavlicek and her nephew, Stephen Smith.

Sharon is survived by her husband, Ronald Davidson; parents, Wendy and Gerald Beaver; four sisters, Gail Rodriguez (Luis), Lynn Popkowski, Leslie Smith (Dennis), and Lisette Lammers (Kirby), one brother Rich Pavlicek along with numerous nieces and nephews. Sharon lived for a year with grandparents Jose and Lucia Farhat in Argentina and had three aunts and many cousins there and in Brazil. She also had a supportive, extended family with Uncle Bob, Aunt Kathy and several cousins.

A graveside service will be held on Saturday, April 24, 2021 at 10:00AM at Florida Chapel Cemetery in Round Top.

The family asks that memorial contributions be made to the Round Top Family Library (206 W Mill St., Round Top, TX 78954) or to the Gardenia E. Janssen Animal Shelter (240 Svoboda Lane, La Grange, Texas 78945).
