Sandra Sidenblad Stahl, age 78, passed away on November 25, 2025, in Liberty Hill, Texas. Born on September 15, 1947, in the Heights in Houston, Texas, Sandra lived a life marked by warmth, creativity, and a deep love for family and community.

Throughout her life, Sandra embraced a variety of roles and careers, many of which centered around her passion for food. Her favorite position was as a caterer for large groups at Round Top Retreat in Round Top, Texas—a role she cherished until her retirement in 2009. Her culinary talents were not only professional but deeply personal; she expressed her love for family and friends through food and gatherings, always ready to share recipes and cooking tips with anyone who asked.

Sandra found joy in many hobbies that reflected her vibrant spirit. She was an avid bowler who participated in several leagues over the years and served as league secretary for a few, most notably the Senior League at Bastrop. Her green thumb was evident in the flourishing plants she nurtured—especially flowering varieties and those with unique characteristics that caught her eye.

Family was central to Sandra’s life. She is lovingly remembered by her daughter Laura Boland and her husband Scott; her son Kevin Stahl and his wife Lauren; and her cherished grandchildren Stella and Jace. She also leaves behind her brother Richard Sidenblad and his wife Marlis.

Sandra was preceded in death by her beloved husband Randa Stahl; her brother Kenneth Sidenblad; and her sisters Mary Roberts and Judith Watson.

In honor of Sandra’s love for nature and animals, donations may be made in her memory to the Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center (wildflower.org) or to Austin Pets Alive! (austinpetsalive.org).
