Richard Charles "Ricky" Roberts of La Grange passed away peacefully on November 9, 2025 at his home in La Grange. He was 63 years old.

Visitation is scheduled for Sunday, November 16, 2025 from 12:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. at Fayette Memorial Funeral Home with funeral services set for Monday, November 17, 2025 at 11 a.m. Interment will follow at the La Grange City Cemetery.

Born on April 1, 1962 in La Grange, he was the son of Richard Doss Roberts and Dottie Marie (Koehl) Roberts Meinardus. Rick was a 1980 graduate of La Grange High School and had resided in La Grange and area his entire life. He was employed at the Hilton Hotel in Brenham and later the Hampton Inn as well as the Kenney Store in Kenney, Texas.

Rick's passion for life was to live day by day. He loved to travel, loved music, being a jokester, but most of all loved Christmas. He loved meeting new people and never knew a stranger. Everything about Christmas was magical but the meaning of Christmas was most important to him. Spending time with friends and family and making the best of each moment, is what he lived for. Rick will be dearly missed by all.

Survivors are his three sisters, Denise Speckels and husband Bruce, Sheilah Popp, and Michelle Zbranek and husband David "Zeebo" all of La Grange; husband, Dayvid da Silva of Rio De Janeiro.

 Nieces and nephews, Ashley Virnau and husband Matt of Boerne, Bridgette Popp and Brodie Popp of La Grange, Lezli Thomes and husband Josh of Smithville, Lauren Ponder and husband Josh of Nacogdoches.

Great nieces and nephews are Chelsea Popp, Marcus Darden II, Abby Guinand, Jhett and Juleen Virnau, Jaxon and Lena Thomas and Jonah Ponder.

Preceding him in death were his parents Dottie and Richard Roberts.

Memorial donations may be made to Hospice Brazos Valley.
