Odell Lehmann

October 18, 1916 — February 13, 2017

Odell Lorine Lehmann age 100 of Pflugerville, passed away on February 13, 2017 at her home.

Odell was born on October 18, 1916 at Greens Creek to Charlie F. Wieder and Martha Rose Domaschk.  She was baptized on October 22, 1916 at her home by Pastor Buchschacher.  She was confirmed in May of 1931 at Green Creek Lutheran Church by Pastor Paul C. Eifert.  Her confirmation hymn was “Let Me Be Thine Forever”.  Her confirmation verse was “Fear not:  I am thy shield and thy exceeding great reward”.  She was married to John Arthur Lehmann at Holy Cross Lutheran Church in Warda on August 29, 1937 by Rev. Paul C. Eifert. She was a housewife and mother.

She is survived by one son; Darrell Lehmann and wife Ann; one daughter, Nelda Shaw and husband Jerry; seven grandchildren, Brent Hill, Daniel Hill, Geren Hill, John Lehmann, Shannon Shaw, Jay Shaw and  Russell Shaw; nine great-grandchildren, Geoffrey Hill, Joseph Hill, Jacob Hill, Abigail Hill, Caylee Dearth, Alex Moore, Caleb Lehmann, Claire Lehmann, and Jenny Leigh Shaw.

She was preceded in death by her husband; her parents; eight brothers, Herbert Wieder, Hilton Wieder, Pete Wieder, Monroe Wieder, Raymond Wieder, Freddie Wieder, Roy Wieder and Charlie Wieder; one sister, Ruby Wieder; one grandson, Todd Shaw and one great-grandson, Joshua Farris.

Funeral services are scheduled for Friday February 17, 2017 at 2:00 PM at Holy Cross Lutheran Church in Warda.

Interment will follow in Holy Cross Lutheran Cemetery at Warda.

Memorial contributions may be made to Holy Cross Lutheran Church in Warda.

Parents pass on all manner of things to their children from physical

possessions to genes to character traits and habits.. what mom passed on to

me, by word and deed, is a strong faith...far more valuable than gold,

silver, material things, stuff...for me it's priceless.
