Milton Beran, age 83, passed away on February 16, 2009 at St. Mark’s Medical Center in La Grange, Texas. He was born on January 11, 1926 to parents Anton Beran and Louisa (Pavlicek) Beran.

He was a maintenance worker. Originally from the Ellinger area he moved to La Grange and resided at Care Inn until his death.

He is survived by one sister, Mildred Slanina of Ellinger; four nieces and one nephew.

Milton Beran was preceded in death by his parents Anton and Louisa (Pavlicek) Beran.

Visitation is scheduled for Tuesday, February 17, 2009 from 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. at Fayette Memorial Funeral Home. A rosary will be recited on Tuesday evening at 7:00 p.m. at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Ellinger. The family will receive visitors from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday evening at the church.

The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, February 18, 2009 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Ellinger. Father Stephen Nesrsta will officiate at the service.

Memorials may be given to Brazos Valley Hospice or St. Mary’s Catholic Church.
