Mercedes Briana Phillips, age 11 months, passed away on February 9, 2009 at Texas Children’s Hospital in Houston, Texas. Mercedes is the infant daughter of Thomas and Maribel (Enriquez) Phillips of La Grange, Texas.
Mercedes Briana Phillips is survived by her parents, Thomas and Maribel (Enriquez) Phillips of La Grange; two brothers, Thomas and Joseph Phillips of La Grange; two sisters, Vivianna and Angelina Phillips of La Grange; grandmother, Dominga T. Phillips of La Grange; grandparents, Roberto and Maria Enriquez of Houston; great-grandparents, Luis Tenorio of La Grange and Paula Tenorio of Gonzales and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her grandmother Maria Mercedes Chainez.
Visitation is scheduled for Friday, February 13, 2009 from 8:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Fayette Memorial Funeral Home. The family will receive visitors from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Friday evening.
The funeral service is scheduled for Saturday, February 14, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. at the Remnant Church in La Grange. Reverend Dennis Hill will officiate at the service.
Interment will be in the La Grange City Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to the Texas Children’s Hospital located at 6621 Fannin Street Houston, Texas 77030.
