Margaret (Margie) Louise Hudson Kirk, age 88, passed away on July 21, 2008. She was born on September 11, 1919, to parents, Jesse Liberty Hudson and Mary Louise (Fowler) Hudson.
She married Dixon P. Kirk on March 13, 1943, in Big Springs, Texas. They spent many years breeding Appaloosa horses. She enjoyed spending time with her husband, family and friends.
Margaret (Margie) Louise Hudson Kirk is survived by her loving husband of 65 years, Dixon P. Kirk; her niece, Janet Spencer and her husband Richard Spencer of Houston; her niece, Judy Kellerman of Tulsa, Oklahoma; her nephew, Edward Kellerman, Jr. of Tucson, Arizona; her niece, Jimmie Deane Dodds of Iola, Texas; her nephew, Randy Philips and his wife, Pat Philips of Houston, her niece, Julie Ann Baker and her husband, T. Lindsey Baker of San Felipe, Texas; her nephew, Gary Wayne Kirk and his wife, Claudette Kirk of Buffalo, Texas and numerous great nieces and great nephews and numerous great-great nephews and great-great nieces and a large number of cousins and loving friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother.
Visitation is scheduled for Wednesday, July 23, 2008 from 8:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Fayette Memorial Funeral Home. The family will receive visitors from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday evening. The funeral service is scheduled for Thursday, July 24, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. at the Fayette Memorial Funeral Home Chapel. Reverend Sunny Langlinais will officiate. Interment will be in the Fayetteville City Cemetery in Fayetteville.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Boy’s Ranch in Yoakum, Texas.
