Lorraine Gray Montgomery, age 89 of La Grange, passed away on March 3, 2013.
Lorraine was born on September 25, 1923 in Flatonia, to Oren E. Gray and Emma Evelyn Graves.
She was a retired abstractor in the petroleum industry.
Lorraine enjoyed reading , gardening, flowers, music, dancing and played the piano.
She is survived by one son; John Yater of Katy, daughter; Ann Shumate and husband Jim of La Grange, five grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Porter Montgomery; daughter, Nina Seal and a sister, La Nell Greive.
Graveside services are scheduled for Friday March 8, 2013, at 10:00 AM, at Oak Hill Cemetery in Flatonia.
