Kenneth Wayne (Kenny) Ullrich, age 74 passed away on December 3, 2013 in La Grange.
Kenny was born on March 24, 1939 at Carmine, Texas to Willie A. Ullrich and Verlie Albers Ullrich. He was the founder and owner of Electric Motor Service in La Grange, member of Martin Luther Lutheran Church in Carmine, EASA, Farm Bureau, La Grange Volunteer Fire Department and the Round Top-Warrenton Fire Department. Kenny enjoyed working with his cattle and deer hunting.
Kenny is survived by two daughters; Wendy McDaniel and husband Jesse of Carmine, Penny Sengler and husband Peter of La Grange; granddaughter, Robin Sengler of La Grange; two step-granddaughters, Cassie Adams and husband Billy of Lufkin and Erryn McDaniel, also of Lufkin; one great-granddaughter, Lily Adams of Lufkin and special friend, Beverly Ullrich.
He was preceded in death by his parents, infant son, two brothers and a brother-in-law.
Visitation is scheduled for Friday December 6, 2013 from 8:00 AM until 8:00 PM at Fayette Memorial Funeral Home in La Grange. The family will receive visitors from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
Memorial services are scheduled for Saturday December 7, 2013 at 2:00 PM at Martin Luther Lutheran Church in Carmine.
Memorial contributions may be made to any local volunteer fire department, the Martin Luther Lutheran Church in Carmine or the charity of one’s choice.
