Kathy Lynn Kovar, age 52 passed away on August 30, 2010 at her home in Pasadena Texas.
Kathy Kovar was born on April 17, 1958 the daughter of Tommy and Flora (Egan) Joplin in Houston, Texas. Kathy resided in Pasadena, TX with her husband Eugene Kovar where she was a loving homemaker.
Kathy had many hobbies that included painting, reading and cooking. She had a love for animals including her cats, dogs and rabbits.
She is survived by her husband Eugene Kovar; parents Tommy and Flora (Egan) Joplin of Weimar; daughter Heather Blackman of Fort Worth; brother Glen Joplin of Osceola MO; three grandchildren Madison, Molly and Hayden Blackman of Fort Worth, step-daughter Eugenia Abel and husband Richard along with her four children, numerous nieces and nephews also servive.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents.
Visitation is scheduled for Friday September 3, 2010 from 8:00 AM until 8:00 PM at Fayette Memorial Funeral Home in La Grange. The family will receive visitors from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM. Rosary will be recited at 7:00 PM.
Funeral services are scheduled for Saturday September 4, 2010 at 11:00 AM at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Plum. Interment will follow at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Cemetery in Plum.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Cemetery in Plum.
