She was born on July 29, 1940, in Houston, Texas, and dedicated her life to nurturing her family and serving her community through her unwavering faith.
A wonderful mother and grandmother, Joy centered her life around the love for her children and grandchildren. Joy excelled in creating a loving atmosphere, sharing her hospitality with all who entered her space.
Her contributions extended beyond her family; she was actively involved in her church, serving in women's Bible studies and surrounding herself with the community.
