A visitation for Joseph Cyril Muras, 93, of La Grange will be held at the St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church in Holman on Wednesday, February 15, 2017 from 9:00 – 11:00 a.m.

Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, February 15, 2017 at the St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church in Holman with interment to follow at the St. Wenceslaus Catholic Cemetery in Holman.

Joseph was born March 5, 1923 to Joseph and Betty Lidiak Muras. He served his country in the U. S. Army during WWII. He was a farmer.

Joseph is survived by a son; Joseph C. Muras III, and his wife Carrie of Houston, 1 brother Daniel Muras of La Grange, 1 sister Rose Berger and Husband Melroy of La Grange,  grandson Bryce Muras of Houston, and 1 sister-in-law: Gladys Cerny Muras

Joseph was preceded in death by his parents, and his wife of 53 years  Georgia Marcella Berger Muras, Sisters Bernadette Muras and Agnes Antosh, brother Matt Muras and brother John Muras.

Family suggests memorials to the St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church in Holman.
