John Pecora of La Grange was called to his heavenly home on the afternoon of January 11, 2012 at the age of 83 years
John was born to Dewey Graham and Alice Goldbar Graham on December 26, 1928 in Amawalk, New York.
John enjoyed the outdoors playing golf , In his younger years he enjoyed working with horses and horseback riding.
John is survived by his wife; Betty Pecora of La Grange, two daughters; Barbara Carpenter and husband Darrell and Linda Elledge and husband Billy, son-in-law; Lloyd Moreland of La Grange. 5 grandchildren; Janekll Olivares and husband Enrique, Renee De LaRosa and Wally, Jennifer Bernshausen and husband Dusty, Darrell Carpenter, Jr. and wife Susie and Brandi Vorse and husband Brandon.10 great-grandchildren; Halee and Alex De LaRosa, Tori and Brandon Porter, Caedyn Olivares, Addison Carpenter, Brody Vorse, Charlee and KJ Wessels, Crew Bernshausen and future baby boy Bernshausen.
He was preceded in death by his mother Alice Graham and step father Dewey Graham, daughter Carol Moreland, and great grandson Cade Carpenter.
Visitation is scheduled for Friday January 13, 2012, from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM, at Fayette Memorial Funeral Home in La Grange. The family will receive visitors from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
Funeral services are scheduled for Saturday January 14, 2012, at 10:00 AM, at Mount Calvary Lutheran Church in La Grange.
Interment will follow in La Grange City Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Mark's Medical Center in La Grange.
