Jewelene Pfluger, 92, of La Grange passed away Wednesday, August 13, 2014 in a Round Rock, Texas Nursing Center.
Jewelene was born June 12, 1922 in Austin, Texas to Alfred and Dora Kerlin Prinz. She graduated from Manor High School and worked as a secretary in the County Agent's office. Jewelene married Glenwood Pfluger on June 3, 1944 in Round Rock, Texas.
Jewelene was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, 1 daughter Sharon Pfluger, and 1 sister Fay Penton.
She is survived by 2 sons, Darrell Pfluger, of Taylor, Texas, Barbara Lehman of Taylor, Texas, Karen, Luke, and Lauren Smith of Belton, Texas, and James Pfluger of La Grange, Texas. 1 brother Alfred Prinze Jr of Austin, Texas, a sister-in-law, Gladys Pfluger of Pflugerville, Texas, a brother-in-law, Nat Penton, of De Quincy, Louisiana, and numerous nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held at a later date.
