Jerry Lane Zurita was born in Bryan, Texas to Jerry Zurita and Vanessa Liliana Rodriguez.  He was baptized December 2015. He resided in Plum, Texas and was a student at La Grange Elementary School.

Lane loved bacon, cheeseburgers from McDonald’s, pizza from Subway, chocolate and Chinese noodles.  Lane loved being outside playing with his dog Red, riding on his little blue and white four-wheeler and riding horses. He also liked to sing Ring of Fire by Johnny Cash. Lane loved his family and his brothers very much and did not know a stranger.  Jerry Lane Zurita was the sweetest, most loving young man that always had a smile on his face and gave the biggest hugs.

Lane is survived by his parents, grandparents Juan Jose and Rosa Maria Rodriguez of Brenham, Texas and Jose Angel and Margarita Martinez of Plum, two brothers Kaden Levi Hernandez and Maison Lux Rodriguez along with several aunts, uncles and cousins.

Visitation for Jerry Lane Zurita will be held on Saturday December 19, 2020 from 5PM-7PM at Fayette Memorial Funeral Home in La Grange, Texas. Funeral services will be held on December 20, 2020 at 3PM at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Interment to follow at the La Grange City Cemetery. The pallbearers are Jose Martinez, Jose Lopez, Ruben Lopez and Anthony Lopez.
