Jennifer Wallace

Jennifer West Wallace, age 64, passed away on Monday, April 22, 2024 at her home in Smithville, Texas with family by her side. She was born on October 20, 1959 in Clinton, Indiana to Marion F. West and Billie Ann (Wymer) West. Her father passed away when she was only in grade school and shortly after, the family moved to Texas where Jennifer grew up and later met the love of her life, Albert Wallace. They married in 1977 and enjoyed each year spent together until Albert passed in 2016. 

She was also preceded in death by her mother, Billie West and an older brother, Michael West. Jennifer was the youngest of 5 children. 

She is survived by two brothers, Terry West of Seymour, David West of Bastrop, and a sister, Rebecca Hendershot of San Antonio. Jennifer had three children, Theresa Thomas of Smithville, Michael Wallace (who preceded her in death in 2013), and Casey Wallace of Seymour. She has five grandchildren; Austen Wallace of Abilene, Tristen Wallace of Seymour, Dwayne “Tuff” Collins and Albert “Lane” Collins of Seymour, and Brookelyn Smith of Smithville. She was also blessed to be a great grandmother to Tristen’s two children, Gabriel and Olivia. 

Jennifer’s wishes were to be cremated. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
