James Charles "JC" Kaiser, 92, of La Grange, Texas passed away on September 20, 2024, at his home surrounded by his family. A visitation will be held at Fayette Memorial Funeral Home in La Grange on Wednesday, September 25, 2024, from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m., with the family present from 5 p.m. to 7p.m. Services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, September 26, 2024, at Holy Cross Lutheran Church in Warda, Texas. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery.
JC was born September 4, 1932, to Fred Emanuel Kaiser and Verna (Hubbard) Kaiser in Winchester, Texas. JC was baptized September 11, 1932 and confirmed March 30, 1947 both at St. Michael's Lutheran in Winchester, Texas. JC and Wilma married on August 12, 1951, at Holy Cross Lutheran Church in Warda, Texas. They had a "Great Life". They were very active, spending much of their younger years playing softball and volleyball. They lived many years in Rio Villa near Houston, Texas, in which they were instrumental in developing. JC was actually named Honorary Mayor of Rio Villa at one time. It was here on the San Jacinto River that they spent most of their time boating and water skiing. They operated Kaiser Marine there for 13 years, where they sold ski boats and just about anything anyone would need to enjoy the water. They participated in the Houston Boat Show twice a year before retiring and moving back to La Grange. Upon moving back to La Grange, they moved onto the family Homestead near Warda, which has been in the family since 1886, and is a Certified Texas Century Ranch, where he continued, raising cattle and driving his John Deere tractor. He had made sure the cattle had hay on the day that he passed away.
JC is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 73 years, Wilma Ann (Bohot) Kaiser. He is also survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Doug & Marcia Kaiser of La Grange; daughters and son-in-law, Michelle Davis of La Grange, Candace Kaiser & Luis Vallejo of La Grange, Holli & Brad Malloy of Houston; grandchildren, Jennifer & Daniel McCormick, Jeffery & Jennifer Kaiser, Dustin & Sumer Reid, Feagan & Clay Huckins, Farah Alvarez, Emily Eindorf, Abigail Eindorf, Alivia Eindorf, Evelyn Williams, Mason Malloy, Jacee Malloy; great-grandchildren, Victory, Thorn, Seren, Rayleigh, Remy, Oaklyn, Stone, Laikyn, Jeremiah, Claire, and Maverick; and his uncle Marvin Lorenze. Also, left behind to remember him are numerous other family, friends, and loved ones.
JC served in the Lutheran church as an elder and various other positions throughout his life.
JC was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Edward Kaiser and wife Helen; brother-in-law, Alfred and wife Ruby Bohot; sister-in-law, Gladys Giese and husband Leslie.
Pallbearers will be Dustin Reid, Jeffery Kaiser, Mason Malloy, Keith Bohot, Daniel McCormick, and Charles Bohot. Assisting as Honorary Pallbearers are John Kaiser, Curtis Wedgeworth, Harold Wiesenhutter, Brad McClain, and Ronnie Kaiser.
The family requests that Memorials be made to Faith Lutheran High School, 600 FM 1482, Warda, Texas 78960 or to the Charity of your choice.
