James Pierce Jobe, age 91, passed away at home in Fayetteville on October 18, 2026.

He was born December 16, 1934 in Los Angeles, California, the son of James D. and Marion (White) Jobe.

Survivors are daughters, Jennifer Jobe and Lisa Blaha; son, Michael Jobe; and grandchildren, Hunter and Eli Blaha. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Lois Condit.

A private family service will be held at a later date.

One of James’ greatest joys was watching Jennifer and Lisa play sports over the years and later watching his grandsons. If you would like to honor James, please make a donation in his name to Fayetteville ISD – Athletic Department.
