Gladys Urban

Gladys Urban, 85, of La Grange passed away peacefully on December 10th, 2012, in Austin, Texas with her family by her side. Gladys was an avid gardener and animal lover, especially her kitties. She and her husband Steve enjoyed dancing to polka music and spent many enjoyable times with family and friends, spinning around the dance floor in our good old Fayette County dance halls, until his passing in 1988.

She is survived by one daughter, Jeanette Kocurek and her husband, Franklin of La Grange; one grandson, Gregory Kocurek and his wife, Candace; one great-grandson, Ashton Lee and two step great-grandchildren, Patrick Reyna and Lauren Reyna of Hurst, Texas.

She was preceded in death by her husband Steve, and her parents.

Visitation is scheduled for Thursday, December 13th at Fayette Memorial Funeral Home from 8:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m., with family receiving visitors from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Rosary will be recited at 6:30. Funeral services will be on Friday, December 14th at 10:00 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in La Grange with interment following in the St. John Catholic Cemetery in Fayetteville.
