Gabriel Joseph Mica, born October 27, 1982, in Houston, Texas, crossed over on March 26, 2026, in Flatonia, Texas.

Gabriel will be remembered for his 15 years of dedicated service with the Fort Bend County Sheriff’s Office and Union Pacific, and most of all for the love, loyalty, and devotion he gave to his family.

He is survived by his parents, Robert Mica and Ann Mantilla; his son, Aiden Mica; his close family circle, including Sondra Bauder, Frank Rooker, Ashley Rooker-McCaslin, and Shelby Bauder; his brother, Josh Mica and Josh’s husband, Rehan; and his sisters, Ana Benchimol and her husband, Asi, Kimberly Mica, and Tonya Jean Clark.

A service honoring Gabriel’s life will be held on April 11, 2026, at 11:00 AM at the Rosenberg Civic Center in Rosenberg, Texas.

Memorial donations may be made to Poz Impact in Houston in Gabriel’s memory.
