Freda Jo Morgan

Jo Morgan, 68 of Baytown, passed away on October 2, 2025 in Houston, Texas after a long, brave fight against cancer.

She was born in Houston on June 1, 1957 to Joseph Frederick Morgan and Shirley Lea (White) Morgan. Jo was an electrician throughout most of her career where she was a member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local 716. She later became the primary care giver of a beloved relative.

Jo enjoyed crafting, musicals and listening to 60’s, 70’s and Celtic music. She held family traditions and history close to her heart – annual picnics to the Bluebonnet Trail at Washington on the Brazos, Christmas watching “Little Drummer Boy”, and holiday gatherings with family. Anyone that knew her, knew that she loved any shade of purple, hummingbirds, and dragonflies. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends.

Jo is survived by her mother, Shirley; children, Cassandra Falke and Bubba Falke, and two brothers, Thomas “Gary” Morgan and James “Lindy” Morgan.

She is preceded in death by her father, Joseph Morgan.

A private burial for Jo Morgan will take place in La Grange, Texas.
