A MEMORIAL SERVICE FOR Franklin Eugene Walther, 79, of Houston will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, January 26, 2018 at the Holy Cross Lutheran Church in Warda, Texas.
Franklin was born August 21, 1938 in Warda, Texas to Albert Paul and Alma Zoch Walther.
Franklin served his country in the U.S. Air Force during the Viet Nam conflict and was a member of Holy Cross Lutheran Church in Warda. He was a machinist and a farmer.
Franklin is survived by 1 daughter; Jean Dery of Montana, 1 brother and sister-in-law; Vestine and Gloria Walther of Houston, 3 sisters in law; Ruth Walther of Missourri City, Texas, Helga Walther of Houston, and Mary Walther of Houston. 4 Grandchildren and 2 Great Grandchildren.
Franklin was preceded in death by his parents, 1 son; Kevin Walther, 2 sisters; Edith Walther Zoch and Ruth Mittasch, 4 brothers; William, Curtis, Johnny, and Elwood Walther and 2 grandchildren.
Family suggests memorials to the Faith Lutheran High School P.O. Box 138 Warda, Texas 78960.
