Floyd Hugo Von Minden of Palestine and formerly of Warrenton passed away on April 16, 2008. Mr. Floyd Von Minden was born on December 25, 1931 to parents, Hugo Von Minden and Meta (Schulze) Von Minden. He served his country by being a member of the Air Force. Mr. Floyd Hugo Von Minden worked in the building industry. Mr. Von Minden married Kay Wilder on February 12, 1983 in Houston.

Mr. Floyd Hugo Von Minden is survived by his wife, Kay (Wilder) Von Minden; his children, Sandra Segall of Marble Falls, Carol Pfender of Alvin, Barbara and Roy Drosche of Bellville, Karen and Ken Zwigart of Palestine, James Hargis of Houston, and Jay Hargis of Spring; his grandchildren, Derrick and Candace Segall of Kingwood, Jacob and Natasha Romero of Alvin, Justin Hargis of Bastrop, Jennifer Romero of Alvin, Jackie Romero of Alvin, Chris Drosche of Bellville, Michelle Drosche of Bellville, Austin Hargis of Spring, and Cody Hargis of Spring; great-grandchildren, Mackenize, Paige and Jade Romero and Kaylee And Rylee Segall. Nieces and nephews include Lacelle Meinen, Allan Meinen, Ricky Meinen, Kathy Meinen, Karen Richey, Peggy Beard, and Kirby Oltmann.

Friends may call at the Fayette Memorial Funeral Home at 8:00 a.m.till 8:00 p.m. on April 24, 2008. The Funeral Service will be held on Friday, April 25, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. from St. John's Lutheran Church in Warrenton. Burial will be in the Florida Chapel Cemetery.
