Evelyn Matula

Evelyn A. Matula of La Grange passed away on Saturday, May 10, 2008 at the age of 78 years, 3 days. . She was born in Caldwell, Texas, the daughter of Ernest and Bertha Albrecht. She married Clarence R. Matula on October 1, 1955 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Austin, Texas. She worked for the Texas Health and Human Services Commission, she was a typist in La Grange and a babysitter after having three children. She was a loving and dedicated housewife and mother.
Evelyn Matula is survived by her husband, Clarence and their three children, Darrell of League City; David and his wife Jory of Cypress; and Nancy of La Grange; and by two sisters, Adelle McCoy of Conroe and Alice Sides and her husband Bobby; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services are scheduled for Wednesday, May 14, 2008 at 10:00 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in La Grange with Rev. David Williamson officiating. Visitation is scheduled for 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 13, 2008, with a rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. Interment will be in the Holy Rosary Catholic Church Cemetery at Hostyn.
She was dearly loved and will live forever in the hearts of her family and friends.
