Ethel Minnie Buchhorn age 87 of Livingston, formerly of La Grange passed away on November 4, 2014 in Conroe.
Ethel was born on December 1, 1926 at Muldoon to Edward Wessels and Lydia Emma Gau Wessels. She married Walter Buchhorn on October 15, 1950 in La Grange. She was a retired waitress. She loved quilting, sewing, polka music, Gene Autry movies and especially her coffee
She is survived by two daughters; Mary Jane David of Alvarado and Cynthia Gonzales and husband Robert of Livingston; five grandchildren, Jennifer Meyen, Jamie Smith, James David, Jr. Carlton Gonzales and Gabriel Gonzales; three great-grandchildren also survive.
Ethel was preceded in death by her husband and her parents.
Visitation is scheduled for Friday November 7, 2014 from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM at Fayette Memorial Funeral Home in La Grange. The family will receive visitors at this time.
Funeral services are scheduled for Saturday November 8, 2014 at 11:00 AM at Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church in La Grange.
Interment will follow in Cedar Cemetery near Hostyn.
