Duane Edward Bartek, 56, of La Grange, Texas passed away at his home in La Grange, Texas, on May 27, 2022.  A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 p.m., July 2, 2022 at Fayette Memorial Funeral Chapel.

Duane was born July 22, 1966 in La Grange, Texas to Betty Jane (Zbranek) Bartek.

He was preceded in death by his parents; grandparents, Eddie Zbranek and Justina Zbranek.

Duane is survived by his brother, Michael Bartek of La Grange; sister, Brigette Bertsch; nephews, Dillon Michael Bartek, and Ryan, Connor and Derek Bertsch.

Duane was a lover of anything to do with cars, especially Nascar Racing.  He enjoyed football, fishing and was a huge animal lover.

In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial donations be made to the Gardenia E. Janssen Animal Shelter in La Grange, Texas.
