Doris Glenn, age 66 of Spring, Texas passed away on August 12, 2014 in Houston.
Visitation is scheduled for Saturday August 16, 2014 from 12:00 PM- 7:00 PM at Fayette Memorial Funeral Home in La Grange. The family will receive visitors from 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM.
Funeral services are scheduled for Sunday August 17, 2014 at 2:00 PM at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Warrenton, Texas.
Interment will follow at Florida Chapel Cemetery in Round Top, Texas.
Doris is survived by 1 daughter: Dayna Melton, mother: Lolly Dittmar, brother: Larry Tiedt, sister: Rebecca Kunkel, 4 grandchildren: Stephen, Chelsea, Lindsay, Jeffrey, 2 great grandchildren: Jessie, Clara, numerous nieces and nephews and friend Wesley Wittenborn.
She was preceded in death by her father: Lorenz Tiedt, brother: Everette Tiedt, and sister: Marylin Tiedt.
Doris was born on September 11, 1947 in Burton, Texas. She was a customer service representative for a software company for over twenty years. She was an avid reader of mystery novels. Family was important to her and she would tell you how much she loved her grandchildren. She was also a huge George Strait fan.
Family suggests memorial contributions be made to St. John’s Lutheran Church in Warrenton.
Arrangements are being made by Fayette Memorial Funeral Home in La Grange.
