Donald Bruce Grady, age 82, of La Grange passed away on Saturday, May 30, 2020.
Due to recent health concerns, and in accordance with the CDC and local County Judge recommendations, the family will hold a memorial service at a later date.
He was born on July 28, 1937 to Donald Albert Grady Jr. and Aline Jones Grady in Ogelsby, Texas. He loved to travel especially to Colorado. Donald never met a stranger. He worked as a social security administrator for many years in Brenham.
He is survived by son Bryan Grady and wife Linda, daughter Shawn Smith and husband Morgan, brother Gary Grady and wife Jane, brother Mack Grady and wife Diane, grandson Cody Smith and wife Jessica, grandchild Jeremy Miller, grandchild Thomas Smith, grandchild Dusty Smith, sister-in-law Ernestine Parker and husband Jerry, and brother-in-law J.T. Guthrie and wife Connie.
He was preceded in death by his wife Mary Delores Grady and son Donald Bruce Grady, Jr.
The family suggests memorial Donations to Alzheimer’s Association, Capital of Texas Chapter, 3429 Executive Center Dr. Suite 110 Austin, Texas 78731 or the charity of one’s choice.
