Bruce Wayne Schielack, a resident of Fayetteville, Texas, passed away on December 22, 2025, at the age of 75. Born on October 29, 1950, in La Grange, he dedicated over two decades of his professional life to Emergency Management with the Department of Public Safety. Bruce also had a diverse career spanning work on offshore oil rigs and as a skilled cabinet maker, showcasing his talents and commitment to quality craftsmanship. He loved watching the birds on the bird feeder, fishing, wood working, working on whatever project Cilka had come up with, tinkering around his garage, driving his UTV around the property and hanging out with Cilka, Baylee and Paisley.

Bruce graduated from Waltrip High School. He had a passion for woodworking, enjoyed lawn care, and took delight in driving his new tractor. A true car enthusiast, he found joy in cruising with his Black Corvette that he and his family nicknamed the Bat mobile after Batman. He cherished every moment he had with his daughter and granddaughters. He would say his job as a grandpa or Nandad as they called him was to fill them up of sugar and send them home.

On January 8, 1977, he married his high school sweetheart Donna Jean (Kominczak) Schielack, with whom he shared a cherished partnership until her passing. Together they nurtured their family, which included Bruce's beloved daughter, Cilka Schielack, and his cherished granddaughters, Baylee and Paisley Schielack.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Jesse Leroy Schielack and Mable Ruth (Niemeyer) Schielack, his wife Donna Jean Schielack, and his daughter Jessica Leigh Schielack. Despite these losses, Bruce's legacy endures through the love and memories held by his surviving family members.

Friends and family are invited to honor Bruce’s life and legacy at Fayette Memorial Funeral Home & Crematory in La Grange, Texas. A visitation will be held on January 1, 2026, from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM, with a Rosary service starting at 5:30 PM. The Funeral Service will take place on January 2, 2026, at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Fayetteville, Texas, beginning at 11:00 AM.

Bruce Wayne Schielack leaves behind a wealth of memories and is remembered fondly by all who knew him. His spirit will forever remain in the hearts of those he touched throughout his life.
