Bessie Carrie Aldis was born September 18, 1927 IN Winnsboro, Texas to Daisy White and James Ramsey and passed away on December 12, 2017 at Golden Years Nursing & Rehab in Marlin, Texas.
Visitation will be on Friday, December 15, 2017 from 10:00AM - 1:00PM at Fayette Memorial Funeral Home in La Grange.
Funeral Service will be on Friday, December 15, 2017 at 1:00PM at Fayette Memorial Funeral Home in La Grange.
Interment will follow at Florida Chapel Cemetery in Round Top.
Bessie was a member of Sons of Herman in Round Top, Texas, a member of the American Legion Auxillary. She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church in Houston for 25 years and Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Round Top for 23 years, and then a member of 2nd Baptist Church in La Grange. Bessie was employed as a Deputy Clerk with the Fayette County Tax Assessor’s office for 11 years.
Bessie is survived by 2 Grandchildren; Beaux Cook and his wife Kristen and Shasta Bartlett and her husband, Robert.
3 Great Grandchildren; Holland Cook, Logan Cook, and Colt Cook.
Bessie was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Lloyd C. Aldis, 2 sons; Dan Curtis Beavers and Chris Robert Aldis, and 1 brother; Guy Ramsey.
