Angeline Amalia Munsch, 91, went to her final resting place on Saturday, February 12, 2022.
She was born to Peter and Agnes (Gerngross) Wostarek on August 4, 1930, in Frelsburg, Texas. She married Harold J. Munsch on March 27, 1951. Although she never worked outside of the home, she worked at home as a seamstress and provided care for numerous children over the years, including her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Angeline enjoyed gardening, solving word search puzzles, playing bingo, and reading. Her greatest joy was being the number one fan at her children’s, grandchildren’s, and great-grandchildren’s sporting events.
She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church of La Grange and enjoyed working with the Knights of Columbus catering crews with her husband.
Survivors include two sons, Joseph Munsch and wife Glenda of Fayetteville, and Bernard Munsch of Leander; two daughters, Becky Munsch and Cathy Zingelmann, both of La Grange; grandchildren, Craig Zingelmann, Michael and Megan Cooper, Candice and Tiger Hall, all of La Grange; Mark and Casey Munsch of Bristow, Virginia; Courtney Zingelmann and Chase Pruitt of Red Rock, and Emerson Munsch of Kyle; great-grandchildren, Kadyn and Kallyn Hall, Haylie, Holdyn and Haedyn Cooper, and Scarlett Zingelmann, all of La Grange, Gianna, Zelie, John, and Avila Munsch of Bristow, Virginia; two sisters, Isabel Blanton of Sedona, Arizona, and Edith Evanicky of Wharton; brother James Wostarek of La Grange; and sister-in-law Annie Munsch of Columbus.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Harold Munsch, brother, Paul Wostarek; brother and sister-in-law Lawrence and Clementine Wostarek, sister and brother-in-law, Rosie and Simon Wilde; brothers-in-law Daniel Munsch, Edward Munsch, and Merle Blanton; and sisters-in-law, Annie Wostarek and Charlene Wostarek.
Funeral services will be on Thursday, February 17, 2022, at 10:30 AM at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in La Grange. The family will receive visitors from 4-7 PM on Tuesday, February 15, 2022, followed by the Rosary at 7 PM at Fayette Memorial Funeral Home in La Grange.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Sacred Heart School Endowment Fund, Relay for Life of La Grange, or a charity of one’s choice. Fayette Memorial Funeral Home in La Grange is in charge of arrangements.
