BINKY (Albina) Malota, age 82 years, of Shelby, Texas, formerly of Fayetteville, passed away Thursday, September 17, 2015. Born in Fayetteville on September, 13, 1933, she is survived by numerous nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews and great-great nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Malota; brother Jerome Novak and sister, Lillie Kaderka. Binky spent much of her life sharing her love for cooking with the community. She worked at Wilbert’s café in Shelby, at the hall at Festival Hill and at Four County Auction in the Industry area.
Visitation is scheduled for Monday September 21, 2015 from 11:00 AM until 3:00 PM at Fayette Memorial Funeral Home in La Grange and from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM at St. John Catholic Church in Fayetteville. Rosary will be recited at 7 PM.
Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. John Catholic Church in Fayetteville, Tuesday at 10 A.M.
Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. John Catholic Church in Fayetteville.
