Albert Medford

Albert Medford 93, went to be with his Lord and Savior February 3, 2023, in La Grange Texas.

Albert was known to everyone as Al, and was born on August 19, 1929 in Temple Texas. He was one of three brothers who have preceded him in death, as well as his wife Norma, and mother and father.

Al was a proud Veteran of the US Army, Construction Battalion.

Until he moved to La Grange, he lived mostly in Levelland Texas, as a farmer. And Denver City Texas, where he owned and operated a Roustabout Service for many years.

While living in Denver City, he married Norma Frey Hollingsworth and together they retired to La Grange Texas, where they joined the Second Baptist Church (Crosspoint Community Church).

Al was proud of his Church and Church Family and was sustained by their generosity and love.

The couple enjoyed trips, out of country, with friends, and had many happy memories made during those trips.

Al would sometimes work with his good friend Lyle, and his wife Linda. Their friendship was built around laughter, work, card games, football, and love.

A small service will be held graveside in Rankin Cemetery, Rankin Texas officiated by James Jones, pastor of The First Baptist Church of Rankin. Services to be set at a later date and time.
